Colorado State ends finished second straight tournament on the Front Range
DENVER– The Colorado State women's golf team finished their second consecutive tournament on the Front Range Sunday afternoon as they wrapped up the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Denver at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club.

After a strong team finish in the Ptarmigan Ram Classic two weeks ago, the Rams remained in Colorado to compete in their third tournament of the season, finishing tied for tenth in the team finish.

Round one ranked the Rams tied for third heading into day two. As a team, Colorado State recorded 48 pars and led the field with 22 birdies with senior Lacey Uchida contributing seven of those birdies. The Rams finished round one with an overall score of 282.

Heading into day two, freshman Jacinda Lee led the way for the Rams with a first round score of 68. In round two she boasted 13 pars to help lead the Rams to another consistent round two, shooting a 288 at a team, entering day three once again tied for third.

Kara Kaneshiro was the leading Ram in round two, shooting a 70 including three birdies and an eagle.

Round three saw some less consistent play for the Rams shooting at team round of 305.

Kaneshiro was the top Ram once again in the third round, notching a 76 to finish even on the tournament.

Colorado State will continue its season with one final fall tournament October 21-23 at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii.
