Strong Second Round Moves Rams into Contention

Three Rams sit in top 15
EUGENE, Ore. – A strong second round moved Colorado State men's golf into contention at the Oregon Duck Invitational, two strokes outside of first place shared by host Oregon and Illinois. CSU put together the second-best round of the day with a 3-under 281 over the second 18.
Jay Pabin, Connor Jones and Christoph Bleier are all in the top 15 on the individual leaderboard. Pabin and Jones are tied for ninth while Bleier is tied for 14th.
Bleier had the best round of the day for CSU with a 3-under, 68 during the second round. He is 2-over for the tournament.
Pabin recorded a 71-72 on the day while Jones went 73-70. The duo along with three others are tied for ninth at 1-over, six strokes back of Matthew Manganello of Fresno State for first place.
The final round at Eugene Country Club tees off at 9:30 a.m. MT with a shotgun start. The Rams will play along Oregon, Illinois and Utah. Live results can be found on GolfStat.
