Rams Perform Well at Duck Invitational

Three Rams finish in the top 25
EUGENE, Ore. – Colorado State men's golf held their own in a tough Duck Invitational Field this week taking fifth place. Connor Jones, Christoph Bleier and Jay Pabin picked up top-25 finishes at the Eugene Country Club.
CSU ended the tournament shooting a 14-over, 866 three strokes behind fourth-place Utah and 13 behind winner Illinois who put together the best round of the tournament on Tuesday.
Jones was the lone Ram to shoot par or better on Tuesday with his even par 71. It helped him to a tie for eighth, his 14th top-10 finish as a Ram and his fifth of the season. The 14 top 10s move him into a tie for the third most in program history.
Bleier tied for the second-best round for a Ram on Tuesday with a 2-over, 73. He finished the tournament with a 4-over, 217. It earned Bleier a tie for 20th.
Pabin finished a stroke behind him at 218 to tie for 24th.
Colorado State is off until April 19-21 when they compete at the Rober Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
