Hjelm Picks Up Second Career Top-5 Finish

Hjelm able to manage cold, breezy conditions
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior Rasmus Hjelm managed the cold and breezy conditions this weekend at the Scarlet Course at Ohio State to pick up his second career top-5 finish. The Sweden native tied for third shooting a 2-over 215.
He turned in the best round for the Rams each round going 70-73-72. It is the second-best finish of his career, the only other top-5 game at The Western in 2022 when he tied for second. In a tournament where birdies were few and far to be found, Hjelm tied for the second most with 10.
Colorado State finished tied for 7th as a team with a 31-over 883. The Rams sandwiched a second-round 299 with a pair of 292s in the first and third round.
CSU new heads to the Mountain West Championship April 26-27 at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Ore.
