Rams Enter Final Round in Lead

Christoph Bleier leads CSU charge on Saturday
CRESWELL, Ore – Colorado State goes to bed Saturday night holding a two-stroke lead going into the final round of the Mountain West Championship. The Rams sit at 10-under after shooting a 6-under 282 on Saturday. Four of the five Rams shot par or better in the second round.
Christoph Bleier was unconscious in the back nine shooting a 5-under 31 that included six birdies. He made the turn at 2-over and increased it to three on the 10th before catching fire. The junior ended up with a 3-under 69 to move into a tie for fourth at 4-under overall.
Connor Jones and Matthew Wilkinson are two strokes back of Bleier on the individual leaderboard with 2-under 142s through 36 holes. Jones followed up his even-par 72 on Friday with a 2-under 70 Saturday. He was 1-under on both nine. Wilkinson did the reverse of Jones going 70 in round one and 72 in round two. The duo is tied for 11th.
Rasmus Hjelm also shot under-par during the second 18 with a 1-under 71. He is tied for 16th at 1-under overall.
Colorado State enters Sunday's final round with a two-stroke lead over San Diego State and San Jose State. The trio of teams tee off the final round starting at 11:40 a.m. MT. CSU is seeking its first Mountain West Championship since 2010 and second overall.
