Rams Complete Day Three of NCAA West Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Colorado State track and field saw four Rams wrap up their seasons Friday afternoon at the NCAA West Regional meet with the final day set to kick off tomorrow.

Although there were no national qualifiers from day three of the NCAA West Regional meet the Rams were represented by Jackson Morris, Hari Brogan, Sam Griffith and Allam Bushara from the men's squad.

Morris started the day representing the Rams in the men's discus where he threw a mark of 54.70 meters, good for 23rd in the competition. Morris finishes his career as a ram as a three time all American in both the javelin and discus throw.

The day continued with Brogan making his NCAA West Regional debut in the men's high jump clearing 2.04 meters before falling just short on the 2.09 meter bar, which would have been a personal best for him. He finished tied for 36th in the region and will look forward to returning to the Rams next season.

On the track, graduate transfer Sam Griffith ended his career as a Ram on a high note, finishing 32nd in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing with a time of 9:10.57.

Closing out the day in the men's triple jump, senior Allam Bushara finished tied for 43rd, faulting on all three of his jumps. Bushara exits Colorado State as a four time Mountain West Champion in the men's triple jump.

The number still sits at four Rams who have qualified for the NCAA National Championship meet taking place in Eugene, Oregon June 5-8. The final day of competition for the women will take place Saturday where more Ram hopefuls will look to punch their ticket nationals.
