Rams Reach Two Finals at Bedford

Colorado State's women's tennis team had two lines reach finals at the Bedford Cup, one each in singles and doubles, as the second day came to a close on Saturday at the Air Force Academy.

Logan Voeks was the only Ram to reach a singles final, doing so in the Charlie draw when she beat the top seed in the bracket, Angel Bean of Montana State, in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5.Â

In doubles, Victoria Erechtchenko and Dobreva will play for the championship in the Red draw after posting a pair of wins on the day. The first ended early with an injury retirement from the Air Force team, though the Rams led 5-2 at the point. They followed with an 8-5 victory over Montana State's Bean and Kavya Khirwar.

On the day, all three doubles teams won matches, as did three singles players.

The finals are set to begin Sunday at 9:45 a.m.
