Snow Days Headed to Colorado State

The Rocky Mountains head to Fort Collins and CSU campus
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State University is bringing the thrill of the Rockies to campus this November with Snow Days, a three-day celebration of Colorado's winter sports, outdoor lifestyle, and Ram pride. Presented by Alterra Mountain Company, the event will take place November 7–9, featuring high-energy activities, football and basketball games and exclusive merchandise.

"Snow Days is more than just a campus event; it's a celebration of everything that makes Colorado extraordinary," Director of Athletics John Weber said. "From the thrill of winter sports to the energy of Ram Country, we're bringing the competition that takes place in the mountains to Fort Collins and inviting everyone to experience the magic of our outdoor lifestyle right here at CSU." It all starts Friday with the vendor village featuring local brands, winter gear, and giveaways. A part of the vendor village includes the ability to purchase Ikon Passes at a discounted rate. Friday night features a doubleheader outdoor movie at 6 p.m. for free.

Saturday will be a full day of snow, tailgating and football. It starts with the Rail Jam competition, hosted by the CSU Snowriders and ASCSU. A custom-built snow rail will be built on the CSU Intramural fields for the competition. The vendor village will also be open during the tailgate and Rail Jam.

Following the competition fans can head into Canvas Stadium to cheer on the Rams as they host UNLV in special Snow Day uniforms. CSU Athletics has unveiled a special edition Snow Days CAM the Ram logo, available on a variety of merchandise items.

Fans are encouraged to wear their best snow-themed gear to the games and help transform campus into a winter wonderland, including a White Out at Canvas Stadium.

The weekend concludes inside Moby Arena on Sunday, Nov. 9 with a basketball doubleheader. The women tip off against Long Beach State at 1 p.m. and men host Omaha at 4 p.m.
