FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado State placed three Rams on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Pacific Region First Team, with midfielder Mia Casey, forward Olivia Fout and midfielder Michaela McGowan all earning spots on this year's lineup. This marks the first time in program history three Rams have earned first-team honors in the same season.
Casey, a junior midfielder, tallied four goals and three assists while serving as a key two-way contributor in the Rams' midfield. She secured her second consecutive first-team selection and became the first player in program history to earn the honor in back-to-back seasons.
Fout, who led the Rams with nine goals -- the third-most in the Mountain West -- and added three assists, earned her first first-team nod after another standout year as CSU's top attacking threat. The recognition adds to her growing list of program accolades.
McGowan collected her first career regional honor after a breakout first season with the Rams. She finished the campaign with six goals and five assists and ranked among the Mountain West leaders, sitting in the top 10 in goals and top five in assists per game at 0.28.
Colorado State's three first-team selections cap another milestone year for the program as the Rams continued to build on the strongest stretch in school history.
