Rams earn first weekly award of the spring
FORT COLLINS – Sophomore Kara Kaneshiro was named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week Friday morning after her team-leading performance at the Clover Cup March 10-12.

Kara and the Rams will continue with their spring season March 28-30 at the Chattanooga Classic at the Honors Course.
Kara's accolades include:
- Led the Rams to a sixth-place team finish and tenth place individual finish with 11 birdies across three rounds and one eagle during round three.
- She finished the tournament +1 (217), finishing under par in the first and third rounds of the tournament.
- Her top-ten finish is her fourth overall this season as she continues to be the Colorado State ace.
- Bookended her tournament with 2-under 68s to match her best round scores of the week.
Kara and the Rams will continue with their spring season March 28-30 at the Chattanooga Classic at the Honors Course.
