Bigley Sets Facility Record in Dominant Display

CSU Athletes take the win in men's and women's weight throw
GOLDEN – Colorado State track and field capped off its thrower-only weekend on Saturday at the Mines Winter Classic. Rams took the top spots in both events, with Kyle Bigley claiming a facility record and Kajsa Borrman setting a personal best.
Mines Winter Classic (Golden)
Men's weight throw started the action with Bigley finishing first place at 20.64-meters/67-feet-8.75. Bigley set the facility record, previously held by Chardon State's Daniel Reynolds (20.07).
The women's side saw Borrman win the event on a personal best of 21.70/71-2.5; Borrman came into the week ranked 16th nationally and now sits at 12th. She is the top ranked weight thrower in the Mountain West.
Coming in second in the men's weight throw was Daniel Baroumbaye, who set a personal best of 18.37/60-3.25. Klaire Kovatch finished second on the women's half, followed by Makayla Long in third.
Looking Ahead
Colorado State will compete next week in Boulder at the Colorado Classic (Feb. 6-7).
