BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Rams finished up their first spring tournament Wednesday at the Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton at the Osprey Point Golf Club. Colorado State placed ninth in a competitive 16-team field, with Kara Kaneshiro leading the team individually finishing fifth place. The Rams played low in round two with the team shooting even par, totaling a score of 288.

Leading the Rams and notching another top-five finish for the team was Kara Kaneshiro, who finished the tournament in fifth playing three-under overall. Kaneshiro also led the team in birdies, shooting 12 in this tournament.
Following Kaneshiro was Jacinda Lee, who shot even par overall and recorded her first top 20 finish this season in 16th. Lee played low in round two, shooting three birdies and only one bogey on the day.
Finishing in 36th was Chiara Sola, who played six-over-par. Sola shot six birdies this tournament, four of which were in the second round.
Kara Lee placed 68th this tournament with a 14-over card. Lee played her lowest in the second round, playing four-over and recording two birdies.
Rounding out Colorado State was Ebba Thalen, who finished in 86th, playing 23-over. Thalen shot an eagle on her first hole, becoming one of only eight golfers to record an eagle this tournament.

Up Next: After a two-week break in the schedule, the Rams are headed to Peoria, AZ to compete in the Westbrook Invitational February 22-23.
