Colorado State Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

Rams set for inaugural season in the Pac-12
FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State volleyball team and head coach Emily Kohan announced the Rams' full 2026 schedule Thursday morning after the Pac-12 Conference's release of the league schedule Wednesday. Colorado State prepares for the program's inaugural season as a new member of the Pac-12 conference.Â
Colorado State will host UC Davis Friday, August 28 and SMU Saturday Aug. 29 to kick off the regular season. Both games will be a part of Welcome Back Weekend at Colorado State with Saturday matchup against SMU expected to be a ranked matchup in Moby Arena. Â
The Rams will then host in-state rival Northern Colorado, Tuesday September 2 before traveling to North Carolina to face off with the Tar Heels and James Madison, both in Chapel Hill September 4-5.Â
Colorado State will return home Thursday, September 10 to face South Dakota and Friday, September 11 for a matchup with UC Santa Barbara with the game acting as the annual Orange Out match. The event will be paired with Colorado State football's Ag Day and Orange Out on Saturday, September 12.Â
September 12 will also mark the 101st matchup between the Colorado State Rams and the Wyoming Cowgirls on the volleyball court, this year playing as non-conference foes in Laramie. Â
One of the most anticipated matches of the season arrives on September 18 when Colorado State hosts in-state rival Colorado for the program's annual White Out match at Moby Arena. The last White Out matchup against the Buffaloes in 2022 drew a sold-out crowd as the rivals battled for the Golden Spike Trophy. Game one of the Battle for the Golden Spike will take place in Boulder, Thursday, September 17 before a packed Moby Arena witnesses the series finale on the 18th. Â
The 2026 season also marks Colorado State's first year competing in the Pac-12 conference. The Rams will play a 16-match conference schedule featuring a double round-robin setup.Â
Conference play will feature home and home matchups with new conference foes in Texas State, Washington State, Oregon State and Gonzaga as well as seeing familiar conference opponents in Boise State, Fresno State, Utah State and San Diego State including opening the Pac-12 season against the Aztecs September 24 at Moby Arena.Â
The regular season will conclude Tuesday, November 17 against Texas State with the game acting as Senior Night at Moby Arena.Â
The Pac-12 Championship Tournament will feature the conference's top four teams with hosting rights being awarded to the conference leader through the first round of round-robin play as of November 9, while the tournament is scheduled the week of November 23, exact dates will be determined by the host site. The tournament champion will earn the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Â
