All gates at Canvas Stadium will open 90-minutes prior to kickoff this season – 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3. It will have been 644 days since fans have been in Canvas Stadium for a Rams football game, so please plan to enter the stadium early to avoid long lines. 7. COVID-19 Guidelines/Updates
The health and safety of everyone in attendance is paramount! Colorado State University encourages masks while on campus and does require masks when inside University facilities. This does include the indoor locations at Canvas Stadium.
8. Cashless Concessions and Parking
Following several other stadium and event centers that have seen efficiency with a cashless model, Canvas Stadium will be moving to card-only transactions at concessions. Doing so will help reduce wait times and get you back to your seats faster.
Also, only a limited number of single-game parking passes remain available for Friday’s game and you must purchase prior to game day. No single-game parking on campus will be available for purchase on Friday.

9. Fire the Cannon
The cannon "Comatose" has been fired at Colorado State football games for over 100 years and it will make its return to Canvas Stadium for the 2021 season. It will fire pregame with 45-minutes prior to kick off to signal fans to begin entering the stadium. It will also continue to blast during the team's pregame runout, playing of the national anthem and after CSU touchdowns.
10. Light Show
The 2021 season will also feature the return of the Canvas Stadium light show. Fans will be able to witness the show during the team's pregame runout with fireworks, flames and through green smoke.
There will also be a light show prior to the fourth quarter of the game when "Canvas Chaos" ensues. Fans are encouraged and expected to participate in this fun tradition.
Thank you for your incredible support of Colorado State Football. We are thrilled to welcome all fans back to Canvas Stadium this Friday! Our student-athletes and your team have worked extremely hard in preparation for this season, and your energy and presence are both important and appreciated!
