Cole Gentry
Former graduate assistant Cole Gentry returned to CSU after spending the 2024-25 season at his alma mater, Wright State, as an assistant coach. He helped mentor a pair of All-Conference honorees in his lone season at Wright State in Brandon Noel (second team) and Solomon Callaghan (all-freshman team).

During his time with CSU, Gentry took over the team’s baseline out of bounds scouting in the 2023-24 season in which the Rams earned their highest ranking in program history and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, beating Virginia in the First Four.

The St. Charles, Illinois, native played for three seasons at Wright State after transferring there from South Dakota State. Gentry finished his career surpassing the 1,000-point scoring mark. He went on to play professionally in the British basketball system.
