2021-22 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted and retained the year of eligibility.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-star recruit according to 247Sports.com, which has him rated as the No. 11 recruit in the state of Arizona and 38th point guard nation-wide… Served as team captain his senior year and led the Panthers to a 20-3 overall record, 10-0 and a district title in 4A Southwest, the No. 3 ranking in 4A and No. 21 in the state overall… Paced the Panthers to the AIA 4A State Tournament Final his last year, including a 62-57 overtime win in the semifinals at #2 Salpointe Catholic in which he tallied 17 points on 7-of-9 from the field… Named West Valley Preps Player of the Year and to the first team after averaging 12.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.6 assists (#4 in the state) and 2.7 steals in 22.8 minutes per game his senior season… Had a season-high 20 points twice and scored in double figures in 17 contests… Had 18 games with five or more assists and six with 10 or more, including a season-high 12 in a win over Shadow Mountain… Also named to the Sports 360AZ Honorable Mention All-Academic Boys Basketball Team… Was also nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Games following his senior year as Paradise Honors moved up to 4A his final season… Averaged 12.1 points, 6.1 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game as a junior, earning 3A Metro West Region Defensive Player of the Year and all-conference honors from the Glendale Independent… Helped Paradise Honors to a 22-6 mark, advancing to Arizona’s 3A quarterfinals….
