In the Spotlight...Paula Langner

Paula Rebecca Langer from Mack, Colorado is a sprint freestyle specialist and graduate student here at Colorado State University.
Langner redshirted her 2001-2002 season due to a shoulder injury but now she?s back and swimming faster than ever.
Langner helped the 200 freestyle relay, along with Katie Peck, Elizabeth Jones and former Ram Kristin Knudson to a new Mountain West Conference record (1:33.15) in 2003. The time also ranked as the second fastest in CSU history. Langner?s leg of the relay was a blistering 23.51. For her performance on the relay, she earned All-Mountain West Conference honors.
In the 2002-2003 season she had the third fastest time on the team in the 50 freestyle (24.17) and fifth fastest time in the 100 freestyle (52.98).
Langner finished her undergraduate work as a Health and Exercise Science major with a 3.72 GPA in 2003. She received the MWC Scholar Athlete Award and was named to the Academic All-Conference team. She is currently enrolled in graduate school at Colorado State.
