Colorado State University prepares to enter the Pac-12 with Annual Day of Giving
FORT COLLINS, Colo.  – Colorado State University is just 57 days away from officially joining the Pac-12 Conference and ushering in a new era not only for athletics, but for the entire institution. While the transition becomes official July 1, 2026, preparation for that move has been well underway for months.
One of the most significant milestones in that preparation arrives Thursday, May 7, with Rams Rise, Colorado State's annual Day of Giving.

"The anticipation for our official entrance into the new Pac-12 continues to build on campus and all across Ram Country," Director of Athletics John Weber said. "In the athletic department, on campus, in Fort Collins and around the world, it will take every Ram and supporter of the Rams to be a part of our success in this new era. The annual day of giving is a huge opportunity for Ram Country to unite and show how powerful our network is. I am thankful for every person who supports our student-athletes and excited to see the immense impact that will be made on Thursday."
That collective support is already translating into success on the field and court. Over the past two seasons, Colorado State is one of only two FBS programs in the nation to make a bowl game while also winning conference championships in volleyball and both men's and women's basketball.
Additionally, the Rams are one of just 18 FBS programs nationally to have participated in at least one bowl game and at least one NCAA Tournament game across those three sports during that span.
That level of achievement is rare territory for the program, previously accomplished only once before in 2001 to 2003, when CSU also captured a Mountain West football championship.
Rams Rise provides supporters the opportunity to build on that momentum. Donors may contribute to CSU Athletics broadly through the Ram Athletic Fund or invest directly in a specific program through a Sports Excellence Fund.

As a part of the Rams Rise, CSU Athletics has several impactful matches/challenges thanks to great supporters. Help the Rams unlock these gifts by being a part of the Rams Rise.
