Rotary Luncheon Awards

Fort Collins, Colo. - Thirteen Colorado State University student-athletes representing each of the school's intercollegiate sport programs were honored Wednesday afternoon by the Fort Collins Rotary Clubs.
The service group presented a most outstanding performer award in each of the school's sport programs, including:
Men's Basketball: (co-winners) Brian Greene, Matt Nelson
Women's Basketball: (co-winners) Ashley Augspurger, Shannon Strecker
Football: Cecil Sapp
Men's Golf: Martin Laird
Women's Golf: Lynnette Duran
Softball: Megan Masser
Women's Swimming: Kristin Schneider
Women's Tennis: Sonja Hansson
Men's Track & Field: Drew Loftin
Women's Track & Field: Lorree Smith
Volleyball: Michelle Knox
Each year, Fort Collins' three major Rotary Clubs, a world wide service group, join together to honor the most outstanding performers and coaches as well as athletic department personnel.
Wednesday's awards came during a joint Rotary Club luncheon held at the Lincoln Center and attended by more than 250 people.
