McGregor Added To AD Search Committee

Colorado State University president Albert Yates today announced an additional member to the search committee for the schools new director of athletics. Yates said that Keli McGregor, president of the Colorado Rockies baseball team will join the panel in the search to replace Jeffrey Hathaway.
?Keli is a nationally recognized administrator in athletic management and a valuable member of the Colorado State family,? said Yates. ?I am excited that we will have his expertise as we conduct this search.?
McGregor is in his second season as club president of the Rockies, being named to that role on October 18, 2001. McGregor was a two-time All-American tight end at Colorado State and was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 1985 draft. He played for Denver, Indianapolis and Seattle before retiring. After leaving professional football, McGregor coached football at the University of Florida in 1988 and 1989 before spending four years as the associate athletic director at the University of Arkansas. This season marks his 10th as a member of the Rockies organization.
A nationwide search began immediately after Hathaway was named Director of Athletics June 10th at the University of Connecticut.
