The CSU Rams Volleyball team has continued on to the NCAA tournament nine times in the past nine seasons. This year will mark the first time in the past nine seasons where the Rams will host the first round of the tournament.

For seniors Melissa Courtney, Katie-Jo Shirley-Cahoon, Becky Sarauer, Bri Frech, and Kimi Foytich this will defiantly be there last games in Moby Arena.

?We?ve done a lot of first here, so we?ve kind of left our mark on the program, and not just the five of us, but everyone on this team from the seniors on down to the redshirt freshman,? Courtney said. ?I think it is going to be sad playing our last game in Moby.

Sarauer said it will be a bittersweet farewell. ? We?ve done so much, we got to see so many things, and all of these experiences are happy; that?s not a sad thing. They happen, and we have to move on with our life, but these are things we?ll tell our grandkids about someday.?

These five seniors play a large role in the Rams ninth-ranking (26-3) victorious season.

Over the past four seasons the Rams have gone 106-22. The Rams also have been the Mountain West Conference tournament champions the past two seasons.

The rams have won 88 of their past 98 matches in the 8,745-seat arena. They are looking to make that 90 out of 100 this weekend in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Rams look to continue their season past this weekend, but these games will mark the last official games in Moby Arena for the five seniors.
