Janna Berg Klussmann of Ft. Collins, died in Cheyenne, Wyoming on June 20, 2004. Janna was born to Kenneth Berg and Joyce Farbo Berg in McVille, North Dakota on August 12, 1962. She was the youngest of six children. Janna moved with her family to Cheyenne in 1966. She graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1980 and attended the University of Wyoming, Laramie County Community College, and received her bachelor's degree from Colorado State University.
Janna moved to Colorado in 1983. She began working for Larimer Co. Social Services beginning in 1990 as a youth counselor and was later promoted to social case worker. While working for Larimer County, Janna was a youth-in-conflict case worker, worked with adolescents, was a mediator for families in conflict, a child protection investigator, and worked extensively with delinquent youth. Janna was very good in all these roles, and never lost her compassion or her desire to help families in conflict. While employed with the county, she met her husband Andy (who also worked for the county). Janna and Andy were married in the Poudre Canyon in 1999.
Janna and Andy shared a love of fishing, float trips, camping, family activities, "the garage", the outdoors, and were great hosts to their friends and family.
Janna was a wonderful, doting mother to her four children - Sarah - 18, and Seth Anderson - 17 (from her first marriage), Drew - 2 ?, and Jackson - 1. Janna was never too busy to do things for her family and friends. She was especially fond of family gatherings and celebrations.
Janna will be sorely missed by her husband Andy and her children - Sarah, Seth, Drew, & Jackson of Ft. Collins; her father and mother - Ken & Joyce berg of Cheyenne; her brothers and sisters-in-law - Martin & Sonya Berg, Kelly & Karla Berg, Kyle & Loretta Berg, and Jon & Melody Berg, all of Cheyenne; her sister and brother-in-law - Marla & Bill Blanton of Loveland; many nieces and nephews; and a multitude of wonderful friends and extended family.
