Ruckus Media Productions, based in Denver, won a bid to become the video service provider at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.
?Ruckus Media has earned a national reputation for its outstanding video production and in-game entertainment,? said CSU?s director of athletics, Mark Driscoll. ?The new videoboard and the service provided by Ruckus Media will have an exciting effect on the game atmosphere for all of our fans at the stadium.?
Ruckus Media provides video production for some of the region?s top sports programs now including Colorado State plus the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, Colorado Rapids, the University of Colorado, and the Air Force Academy.
?We are excited to have CSU among the list of sports teams that we have provided video, graphics, and live production,? said Eric Brummond of Ruckus Media. ?We take personal pride in servicing area programs, and in this case, two of our owners are CSU graduates.?
In addition to its sports venue services, Ruckus Media also offers complete video solutions for corporations including training videos, inspirational sales videos, television commercials and live events.
Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium is undergoing renovation and expansion made possible by a $15.2 million gift made in May of 2003 by the Bohemian Foundation.
By the time the 2004 home opener arrives Sept. 18 against the University of Minnesota, more than 4,000 permanent seats will be open in the north end zone area. Two new scoreboards including the new video board at the south end of the stadium have also been installed.
Within the next year, 12 luxury suites will be built, as well as an expanded Rams Horn premium club level seating and a press box renovation will be completed. A new artificial playing surface will be installed and the expansion and renovation will also include additional fan amenities.
