Women's Basketball Drops Second MWC Game at BYU

The Colorado State women's basketball team lost its second conference game of the season to Brigham Young bya a sccore of 74-54 in Provo, Utah.
The Rams trailed the Cougars early 10-8 before Brighm Young went on a 20-2 run. Colorado State went into the lockerroom at halftime trailing Brigham Young 41-25. The Cougars shot 17-of--31 from the field in the first half, 54.8 percent. The 41 points allowed is a season high by any Ram opponent.
Colorado State was led by junior Lindsay Thomas who scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. Melissa Dennett was the only other Ram in double figures scoring with 13 points.
The Rams will return to Moby Arena on Thursday, Jan. 20 to face San Diego State at 7 p.m.
