Dennett, Thomas Named All-Tourney, SDSU Wins Title

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits improved to 3-1 on the season, and 2-0 in the Coors Rocky Mountain Invitational, with an 81-56 victory over UC Irvine (0-4) to take home the tournament crown. The Rams (2-1) finished in second place with a 1-1 record, while UC Irvine finished with a 0-2 record.
Leading the way for SDSU was tournament MVP, Megan Vogel. Vogel posted back-to-back 18 point games to win top-honors. Colorado State seniors Melissa Dennett and Lindsay Thomas were both named to the all-tournament team after each posted back-to-back double-doubles in the tournament.
