Rams finish Fourth at Mountain View Collegiate

The Colorado State women?s golf team fired a three-round 882 (+18) to finish fourth at the Mountain View Collegiate today in Tucson, Ariz. The Rams entered today three strokes behind third-place Missouri, but were only able to gain two strokes. Northwestern ran away with the tournament with an 870 (+6)

Trisha Quick led the Rams with a four-under 213 for the tournament. She finished in fifth place, four strokes behind champion Mehan Little of Louisville. She shot the Rams? best round of the tournament, a two-under 70 for the first round of the tournament.

Lynette Duran finished tied for 12th with a three-over 219. Kristen Campos tied for 30th with a 223 (+7), while Chelsea Benton and Margaret Garehime rounded out the Rams? scoring with 228 (+12) and a 232 (+16) respectively.

The Rams compete next April 4th and 5th at the BYU Dixie Classic in St. George, Utah.
