Rams in 12th at Heather Farr/CU Memorial

Broomfield, Colo. - The Colorado State women's golf team fired rounds of 311 and 309 and is in 12th place Monday after two rounds of the Heather Farr/CU Memorial Invitational.
The Rams were led by junior Chelsea Benton, who sits in a tie for 33rd place after carding rounds of 78 and 76 in the first day of the two-day event.
Junior Megan Chapman had rounds of 77 and 78 for a total of 155, good for a tie for 39th, and sophomore Stefanie Ferguson is in a tie for 45th place after firing rounds of 74 and 82 for a two-round score of 156.
Redshirt freshman Natalie Stone had a 85-74--158 and is tied for 55th, while freshman Kasey Claussen is in a tie for 74th after carding rounds of 82 and 81 for a first day score of 163.
The University of Denver is leading the tournament with a two-round score of 594 after shooting rounds of 302 and 292.
The final round will begin tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at the par 72, 6,280 yard Omni Interlocken Golf Club.
