Rams Remain in Fourth, Ferguson tied for Eighth

ST. GEORGE, Utah - The Colorado State women's golf team remained in fourth place Friday after carding a 312 in the second round of the Mountain West Championships.

 

Leading the Rams again is Stefanie Ferguson, who fired a 77 in today's round and is tied for eighth place. Megan Chapman moved up one spot and is in a tie for 14th after replicating her round of 78 she shot yesterday. Natalie Stone (78) and Amber Ward (79) are both tied for 17th place. Rounding out the scoring for the team is Kasey Claussen, who sits in 31st after her round today of 83.

 

The Rams are 27 strokes back from leader BYU, and have a 10 stroke advantage over fifth place UNLV.

 

The final round will begin Saturday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
