FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The women's basketball game between Colorado State and Northern Iowa has been moved from Saturday, Dec. 13, and will now be played Sunday, Dec. 14, at noon. Colorado State Director of Athletics Paul Kowalczyk made the announcement.
"The NCAA required us to move the game to Sunday due to the volleyball regionals," said Kowalczyk. "I want to thank the University of Northern Iowa for working closely with us to make this happen. It will be an exciting weekend for Rams athletics with volleyball, women's basketball and men's basketball games scheduled in Moby Arena."
The game between the Rams and the Panthers is part of a very busy weekend at Moby Arena. Colorado State will also host the NCAA volleyball regional Dec. 12-13, while the CSU men's team welcomes the Stanford Cardinal to Fort Collins for a game on Sunday at 5 p.m. MT.
Fans ages 18 and under will receive $1 admission to the Dec. 14 women's basketball game.
The Rams women's basketball team will also host its annual "Pack the House" event, this Saturday at 2 p.m., when Colorado State faces in-state rival Northern Colorado. Fans who wear green to the game will receive a coupon for $1 admission.
