McDonald's Men's Basketball Giveaway Contest Rules

All persons who enter the contest will be entered into a drawing for one (1) Grand Prize of two (2) 2013-14 CSU Men’s Basketball Season Tickets and a free round trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, Nev., also including two (2) all session passes to Mountain West Men’s Basketball Tournament, and accommodations. The winner must travel, but may take companion(s) using flights from the prize allotment. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of all prizes is $3,500. Travel insurance is not provided, and Sponsor recommends the winner and travel companion obtain travel insurance (at their own expense) prior to travel. Sponsor shall be entitled to cancel the itinerary without notice should the winner or their travel companion engage in any inappropriate, or illegal behavior, use excessive alcohol, artificial stimulants or illegal drugs, or act in any manner that brings Sponsor or any person or organization involved in the contest into public disrepute. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute any or all items listed above for items of equal or lesser value.
All expenses and incidental travel needs, including but not limited to, meals, lodging, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, or other expenses or incidentals are the responsibility solely of winner. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. The determination of liability for any federal, state or local taxes that may arise out of the winner’s receipt and/or use of any prize, and the payment of any such tax liability, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. However, should federal, state or local law impose any tax reporting or filing obligations on Sponsor arising out of the winner’s participation in the Contest (including the winner’s receipt of and/or use of any prize), the winner agrees to timely provide Sponsor with any information that is reasonably needed for Sponsor to comply with any such reporting or filing obligations. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of prize by winners is permitted. Air transportation tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles. All air transportation tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages and schedule or route changes. The Sponsor reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of equal or greater retail value. In the event that any winners and/or his or her travel companion engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to deny boarding and terminate the trip or any remaining portion of the prize early, in whole or in part, leaving winners and/or his or her travel companion home with no further compensation.
GENERAL RELEASE. By receipt of any Contest prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and affiliated contributors, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt, redemption or use of any prize.
