Rams at the Bronco Super Challenge -- Running Recap

DAY 3
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Concluding the Bronco Super Challenge hosted by Western Michigan the Colorado State Rams competed in a single round of singles action on Sunday morning. Five Rams competed during day three of the invitational and the team came away with three victories.
CSU's Alyssa Grijalva defeated her foe from Indiana in straight sets (6-2, 7-5) to wrap up a weekend coming away with two of three singles victories. Ram's Solene Crawley won her match in straight sets after winning a tight second set to notch the victory (6-3, 7-5). Â
Emma Corwin for the Rams held onto a three-set victory to defeat her opponent from Cleveland State. Corwin held onto the match after winning the first and the third set, she only dropped two
games in those sets (6-0, 2-6, 6-2). Rams' Emily Luetschwager and Priscilla Palermo dropped their matches in straight sets on Sunday morning.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Colorado State Rams tennis squad notched doubles wins over two duos from Western Michigan and picked up several singles victories during the second day at the Bronco Super Challenge on Saturday.
Priscilla Palermo and Alyssa Grijalva beat a doubles pair from the hosts Western Michigan. Teammates Emily Kolbow and Emily Luetschwager then defeated another pair from WMU in their flight.Â
Palermo, Luetschwager and Kolbow added singles victories later, with each beating players from Indiana. Emma Corwin also tallied a singles victory against a Cleveland State player.
CSU will wrap up its appearance at the Bronco Super Challenge tomorrow.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Colorado State Rams completed the first day at the Bronco Super Challenge on Friday. The three-day tournament is hosted by Western Michigan.
The Rams rattled off a pair of victories in doubles action. CSU pair of Emilys (Emily Kolbow and Emily Luetschwager) recorded a pair of wins, defeating DePaul's Milica Tesic and Aspasia Avgeri (7-6 [9]) before topping Cleveland State's Isabella Spindler and Jana Schober (6-0).
The CSU duo of Priscilla Palermo and Alyssa Grijalva added another doubles 'W', beating Alina Kuzmenkova and Marija Jovicic from DePaul, 6-2.
In singles play, Luetschwager beat Avgeri from DePaul, 6-4, 6-0. Emma Corwin also won a singles match, defeating Pauline Jahren of Indiana 7-5, 6-4.
CSU will be back at it in both doubles and singles play tomorrow for the second day of the event.
