TEAM
  • CSU opened the scoring on its opening drive with a 41-yard field goal at the 11:46 mark of the 1st quarter. CSU is only the third team to score on its opening drive against Wyoming this season (Oregon, Utah State)
  • Following the loss, CSU is now 57-46-5 in its rivalry with Wyoming.
    • 26-24-4 in Laramie
    • Wyoming leads 26-24 since the Bronze Boot was introduced as the series' traveling trophy in 1968
 
INDIVIDUAL
  • RB Dalyn Dawkins had 29 carries for 157 yards
    • The senior had 14 carries for 90 yards in the first half.
    • Dawkins now has 1,050 yards for the season – a new career high.
      • It's the first 1,000-yard season of Dawkins' career
      • He is CSU's first 1,000-yard rusher since Dee Hart in 2014
    • Dawkins passed Gartrell Johnson for sixth on CSU's career rushing yards list (2,836)
    • Dawkins has 5 100-yard games this season, all coming in the last 6 games.
      • He is averaging 135.2 yards per game in MW play on 7.4 yards per carry.
    • It was also a career high for Dawkins in carries (previous: 25 at Wyoming, Nov. 7, 2015)
  • RB Izzy Matthews has 11 carries for 47 yards and 1 TD
    • Matthews now has a rushing TD in 13 consecutive MW games dating back to last year.
  • K Wyatt Bryan opened the scoring with a 41-yard field goal at the 11:46 mark of the 1st quarter.
    • Bryan added another FG in the at the 10:39 mark of the 4th (27 yards). It was Bryan's 41st career field goal, which ranks 5th in school history
    • Bryan, a Lou Groza Award semifinalist, is now 14-for-16 on the year.
  • TE Dalton Fackrell had a game-high 61 receiving yards – also a career high.
  • LB Josh Watson led the CSU defense with 11 tackles. He has led or co-led the team in tackles 8 times this season.
  • DL Ellison Hubbard registered a sack of Wyoming QB Josh Allen in the 1st quarter. It's the freshman's second sack of the season.
  • S Jordan Fogal forced an Allen fumble in the 4th quarter, which was recovered by LB Max McDonald.
