IN THEIR WORDS
Tom Hilbert's opening statement…
"That was a really good match. I think, even in the first set, we lost a big lead, which I wasn't happy about, but it put us in an end-game pressure situation that required us to have to do some pressure plays and we really needed that. I was very happy and I knew that Boise State is not a team we should be getting 10-point cushions on. I think they were a little out of sync for a while but they're talented and when they're playing at their best, it's more like set three. We need to play more like we did in set three. We need to face difficult servers. We have to pass and we have to side out in certain situations. We had some really nice, mature performances from the team. I was really pleased."

Hilbert on if there a certain benefit to clenching the Mountain West this early…
Probably not, but what we have to do is look beyond that. Every match that we play from this point on and every practice we have is preparing us for the postseason. We are still going to prepare for the Mountain West opponents and we aren't going to overlook anybody. We are going to bring the intensity and competitiveness up in practice.

Jasmine Hanna on if there any added pressure in the match after the result from last season with Boise State…
I think for sure. We know they're a good competitor and they won last year. I think to everyone it added a little bit of fire, but for the most part, I think we came into conference and treated everybody the same – like we were playing somebody big every night. We're not overlooking anybody.

Paulina Hougaard-Jensen on what the key was to successfully hitting and blocking…
I think we prepared really well. Our scout team did really good job in practice this week and during the match we were vocal on who is serving and where we are going to block.
