Joe Parker announces three CSU Athletics staff promotions

Terry DeZeeuw and Shalini Shanker to Senior Associate A.D.; Matt Klein to Associate A.D.
FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University Director of Athletics Joe Parker announced Tuesday that he has promoted three members of the athletics staff.
Associate A.D. for Sports Performance Terry DeZeeuw and Associate A.D. for Compliance Shalini Shanker have been promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Directors, each in their existing area, and Assistant A.D. for Business Operations Matt Klein has been promoted to Associate A.D. for Business Operations.
"Our entire staff devotes their time, energy and talents to creating a first-class experience for our students," said Parker. "We are excited and proud to recognize Terry, Shalini and Matt with these well-deserved promotions." Â
DeZeeuw is in his 13th year at Colorado State after being hired as Head Athletic Trainer in February 2006 and being promoted to Associate A.D. for Sports Performance in 2012. Shanker is in her ninth year with CSU Athletics after originally joining the staff as Assistant Director of Compliance in June 2009 and being promoted to Associate A.D. for Compliance in 2012. Klein, a graduate of Colorado State, has been in his current role since 2013. Prior to that he served as Director of Operations for the Rams' women's basketball program from 2007-10 and Assistant Business Manager from 2010-12 before a brief stint as Montana State's Associate A.D. of Business Operations in 2012.
