Match Preview: Rams Host Bears Tuesday

THE WEEK
• The Rams will stay in the confines of Moby Arena and host Northern Colorado on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
• The two teams have faced each other every season since 2007 and the Rams will carry a 16 match series win streak into the contest.
• Colorado State and Northern Colorado have met 27 times since the series began back in 1976.
• The Rams hold a 21-6 record in the series, including a 10-1 record at home.
• CSU also carries a 45 match win record against all DI Colorado programs.
LOOKING AHEAD
• Following the mid-week match, Colorado State will head to Tallahassee Florida on Wednesday morning to compete in the Home2Suites Invitational hosted by Florida State.
• The Rams will play three matches over the week.
• CSU will face TCU, UNC Asheville and Florida State.

RAMS AT A GLANCE
• The Rams start the season 1-1 after dropping a hard fought match with Duke in its season opener, but rebounded with a 3-1 victory over UCF the following day.
• Redshirt sophomore, Kirstie Hillyer posted the first double-double of the season with 19 kills and 11 blocks against Duke. The 19 kills also set a career-high for the middle blocker.

• The Bears are 0-2 this season after opening their slate last weekend losses against UCF and Duke.
• Head Coach Lyndsey Oates is in her 13th season at Northern Colorado with a 213-156 overall record.
