THE WEEK
• Colorado State will continue its tough Mountain West Conference stretch, playing its third and fourth matches in what will be eight days.
• The Rams will host the Cowgirls on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., in the second edition of the Border War.
• CSU will then finish the week on Thursday at Air Force for a 7 p.m., match.
• Both matches will be broadcast the MW Network, while the Border War will also be on Stadium TV.

OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• Wyoming begins the week with a 16-8 overall record and 8-4 in the Mountain West. The Cowgirls are 5-2 since playing the Rams on Oct. 2 and have lost two of the last four matches.
• Three of the Cowgirls' losses have come on the road against Fresno State, San Diego State and UNLV, while they dropped their first home loss off the season last week to the Bulldogs to snap a 12-match winning streak dating back to the end of the 2017 season.
• Air Force begins the week with a 13-12 overall record and a 3-8 mark in the Mountain West. The Falcons are 1-5 since playing the Rams on Oct. 5, including on a four-match slide.
• AF has struggled in MW action holding a 1-9 record since the second week, including losing four five-set matches.

LOOKING AHEAD
• The Rams will have the weekend off before heading on their final road trip, to Utah State and Boise State next week.
• CSU will play the Aggies on Thursday, Nov. 8 before heading to Boise State on Saturday, Nov. 10.

RAMS AT A GLANCE
• Colorado State returned to as the Mountain West leader after sweeping Fresno State last weekend to win its seventh-consecutive league match. The Rams now hold an 18-6 overall record and 10-2 MW mark.
• The Rams recorded two home sweeps last week against San Diego State and Fresno State to put their season total at 12 sweeps, including seven in the conference and six of the last seven matches.
• The win against the Bulldogs snapped their five-match win streak, and handed them just their second league loss.
• Kirstie Hillyer was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week after her performances last week. The award is the second-consecutive week of the middle and the third for Colorado State.
• The Rams rank 22nd in the nation in blocks per set with a 2.66 mark as Paulina Hougaard-Jensen (42) and Kirstie Hillyer (63) rank in the top-100 in the country.
• CSU ranks 15th in the nation in hitting percentage as both middles again are in the top-100: PH-J (.366), Hillyer (.350).
