In the fourth quarter, redshirt-senior safety Kavapele Maka recovered a fumble forced by freshman safety Quinn Brinnon, paving the way for the Rams to score.

Facing a third down, he connected with Preston Williams, a redshirt junior wide receiver, in the end zone for an 8-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, putting CSU on the scoreboard. Redshirt-senior kicker Wyatt Bryan later added a 32-yard field goal.
Sophomore defensive end Emmanuel Jones logged his second sack of the season, taking down Wolfpack quarterback Ty Gangi for a loss of 10 yards in the second quarter.
