Rams Travel to Vegas for Rebel Beach Invitational

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women's golf team continues its spring schedule traveling to Las Vegas, Nev., for the Rebel Beach Invitational. All three rounds will be played at the Spanish Trail Country Club, with rounds one and two played on Monday, Feb. 26 and the final round on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Spanish Trail CC is a Par 72 and played 6,355 yards.

Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.

There will be a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. MT on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play and tee times off the first and 10th holes beginning at 9:30 a.m. MTÂÂ on Tuesday.

TWO RAMS QUALIFY FOR U.S. WOMEN'S AMATEUR… AGAIN
For the second consecutive year, teammates Katrina Prendergast and Ellen Secor qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship. A year after earning medalists honors at the Ranch CC, Prendergast and Secor repeated in that role, this time by shooting a best-ball six-under par 66 on Oct. 3 at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve in Westminster, Colo. The 2018 U.S. Women's Four-Ball will be held April 28-May 2 at El Caballero CC in Tarzana, Calif. It will be the third straight trip to the national Women's Four-Ball for Secor and second for Prendergast.

The Rams will have almost two weeks off before heading to the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, Mar. 13-14 at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Manoa, Hawai'i.
