COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho – The Colorado State women's golf team finished the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate tied for seventh with a 30-over par 882. The Rams scored 294-288-300 during the three rounds.
Sophomore Haley Greb highlighted Colorado State finishing the week tied for fifth which is her highest finish of her career. Greb finished the first day of the Collegiate tied for 15th place with a 2-over 144 through the first two rounds. In the final round, she again parred nearly every hole, for the exception of No. 8 – the second hole of the day. Greb also carded two birdies on the back course on Nos. 15 and 18 to finish with a 1-under 70. For the three rounds, she tallied five birdies and only five holes that were over par to finish the two-day event with a 1-over 214.
Illinois won the overall team championship with an even-par over the three rounds. Abegail Arevalo from San Jose State took home the individual crown, carding a two-under 211, which included a three-under par 68 in the final round. Colorado State finished tied for seventh with Long Beach State and Florida International.
