THE WEEKEND
• Colorado State will head to Michigan for its first true-road tests of the season at the Michigan Challenge.
• The Rams will face LSU, Oakland and No. 20 Michigan.
• CSU will start Friday playing LSU at 9 a.m. MT before heading to Rochester, Mich., to face Oakland that night starting at 5:30 p.m. MT.
• Colorado State will finish the Challenge playing No. 20 Michigan on Saturday night starting at 5 p.m. MT.
• The Rams will appear on ESPN3/+ when they are playing the Golden Grizzlies on Friday evening.

OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• LSU will enter the weekend with a 2-4 record after going 1-3 record at the Tiger Classic last week.
• The Tigers dropped matches to Duke and USF, after winning the opener against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
• Oakland will begin the weekend 3-3 after posting a 1-2 mark last weekend.
• The Golden Grizzlies defeated Bowling Green, but fell to Notre Dame and No. 20 Purdue.
• Michigan will carry its undefeated, 5-0 record into the weekend, while also ranked No. 20 in this week's AVCA Poll.
• The Wolverines entered the poll at No. 23 after the first weekend when they swept High Point and Auburn and have yet to lose a set. They will face Valpo on Tuesday night.

LOOKING AHEAD
• Following the road weekend, the Rams will head return to Colorado and host Indiana State on Friday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
• The Rams will then head to Boulder on Saturday, Sept. 15 and play a neutral match against Portland State at 12 p.m., before facing in-state rival Colorado on 8 p.m.

RAMS AT A GLANCE
• Colorado State will head to Michigan with a 4-2 record after finishing last weekend 2-1.
• The Ram defeated Florida State and TCU last weekend, but dropped the weekend opener to Cincinnati.
• Kirstie Hillyer and Breana Runnels were named to the all-tournament team.
• Breana Runnels earned her second double-double of the season against Florida State with 20 kills and 12 digs.
• Runnels led the offense over the three-matches with 64 kills, while also adding 36 digs and seven blocks.
• Maddi Foutz continues to lead the back row, tallying 77 digs over the week. She had a career night at Northern Colorado, tallying 25 digs, which is tied for the second most in Colorado State history.
• Paulina Hougaard-Jensen controlled the net over the weekend, recording 19 blocks.
• Colorado State set a new attendance record in its match against Illinois on Aug. 24, packing in 7,745 fans into Moby.
