PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Colorado State slipped in the early part of the round on Tuesday but rebounded to shoot a 4-under for the day and takes a 6-shot advantage into the final day of the 2019 Saint Mary's Invitational. The three-round, 54-hole tournament is being played at Poppy Hills Golf Club (Par 71 – 7,002 yards) in Pebble Beach, Calif.
The No. 20 Rams, according to Golfstat, were 4-over at one point in the morning but came back and finished at 4-under 280 and a two-round total of 21-under 547. Arizona is in second at 15-under 553, with BYU in third at 14-under 554. New Mexico is fourth at 11-under 557 as those are the only teams in the 16-team field under par through 36 holes.

On the second round
The guys showed plenty of grit today. It's hard to back up such a great round like yesterday's. We were +4 at one point today and brought it all the way back to -4. I'm very proud of the effort today and look forward to a fun battle tomorrow.
