SEAL BEACH, Calif. – The Colorado State women's golf team recorded a tournament-low 295 (+7) and moved up the leaderboard three spots during the final round at the Gold Rush to finish in eighth place with a 35-over 306-298-295—899.

Ellen Secor led the Rams tied for 19th with a seven-over 77-73-73—223 for the weekend. She finished the third round with three birdies and 11 pars and had a three-round total of nine birds. Starting on the back course, she made the turn with a two-over before chipping down her score on the front with a one-under.

Jessica Sloot followed tied for 24th with an eight-over 74-75-75—224, including inking a team-high five birdies in the final round. The junior started on the back course and made the turn with a one-under par. On the front, she was sitting even, but a hiccup on hole six gave her a four-over par 75 for the round.

Katrina Prendergast turned in her lowest card of the weekend with an even-72. The senior had four birdies and 11 pars during the final round, including scoring a one-under on the front course.
