Academic All-MW for Fall 2018 has strong Rams representation

Forty-Six CSU student-athletes from cross-country, football, soccer and volleyball recognized
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A total of 46 Colorado State student-athletes from five sport programs that compete in the fall have received recognition from the Mountain West for outstanding performances in the classroom during the 2018 fall seasons.
The Academic All-Mountain West honorees, which were announced by the conference on Wednesday, cover each fall sport that CSU sponsors: men's and women's cross-country, football, women's soccer and volleyball.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic term at CSU while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better. In addition, that student-athlete must also be a starter or significant contributor to his or her team.
Of CSU's honorees, 12 student-athletes hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.75 or better, including five who hold a GPA of 4.0: Roxy Trotter (women's cross country), Ariell Hopkins (women's soccer), Sasha Colombo (volleyball), Jacqi Van Liefde (volleyball) and Amanda Young (volleyball).
