Rams Travel Up to Laramie for Wyoming Indoor Meet/Multi
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Last week got the Colorado State Track and Field indoor season underway and this weekend's Wyoming Meet/Multi represents the Rams last competition before the holiday break.
Â
The Rams will send a select group up to the Hager-LeBar Indoor Track at War Memorial Fieldhouse for the annual meet, taking place Friday and Saturday. Live results can be found on rapid results, https://csura.ms/31QfkZP. For the Cowboys and Cowgirls, the meet represents their season opener.
Â
The meet will get started on Friday morning with the multi events starting at 10AM with the women's 55m Hurdles in the Pentathlon followed by the same event for the men's Heptathlon. The first day of the multis will wrap up before 1:30 with the individual events starting at 2PM with the men's and women's weight throw. The weight throw will be followed by the first jumping event of the afternoon at 3PM and then the 55M Hurdles will kick off the races and take us through the rest of the events on Friday capped off by the 4x400M relay at 6:15PM. The multis will finish up on Saturday morning at 10:30AM.
Â
Last week at the Air Force Holiday Open, the Rams notched eight top-20 all-time school marks and 17 personal records in addition to 15 Ram debuts.

Coaches' Corner
Head coach Brian Bedard
"We gave student-athletes the option to participate in this meet due to it being right before finals week. For those reasons our travel party won't be as extensive as it would be for any other meet. For the student-athletes that are making the trip, it is another opportunity to gauge where they are at athletically and what they need to work on when the calendar flips to 2022 and our season starts to get legs.
