10 Degrees of CSU Basketball
1.    Returning three starters and nine letterwinners from last year's 14-11 team that finished at 7-9 and eighth in the Mountain West, Wyoming was picked to tie for eighth in the league in the preseason poll.
2.    In the most-contested rivalry in the Mountain West, Wyoming holds a 137-98 advantage overall, including 117-71 in conference action and 76-42 in Laramie.
3.    CSU has won eight of the last 11 meetings overall (5 of the last 6), including both in Laramie last year. Since 2016-17, CSU is 5-1 in Arena-Auditorium against the Cowboys, with all decided by nine points or less.
4.    Overall the 16-2 mark through 18 games ties the best start to a season in program history with the 16-2 record by the 2014-15 Rams, who finished 27-7 and played in the NIT.
5.    Medved now ranks eighth in the CSU record book in coaching wins with 68 and is second in winning percentage at 61.8 behind the late Boyd Grant (63.8%, 81-46).
6.    While there are eight other schools ranked in the top 30 nationally in at least two of the three shooting percentages (field goal, 3-point and free throw), Colorado State is one of just four in the top 30 in all three (4th in FG, 18th in 3P FG, 7th in FT).
7.    CSU is 16th nationally in fewest turnovers at 10.2 per game and 11th on assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.50.
8.    CSU is +4.4 points in the final 10-minute segment of the game, outshooting opponents from the field 55.7-41.3 percent and a stellar 81.3 percent on free throws.
9.    Juniors Isaiah Stevens and David Roddy are in the top 20 in career points already in their career, as Stevens has 1145 points (#18) and Roddy is close behind with 1141 (#19).
10.  The Rams will return home for the annual Orange Out on Friday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. against defending Mountain West champion San Diego State.
