CSU men’s basketball closes its home non-conference schedule on Sunday

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Looking to return to the win column, Colorado State men's basketball turns its attention to Peru State on Sunday. The Rams and Bobcats are set to tangle at 2 pm inside Moby Arena.
 
Opening Tip
- Colorado State fell to rival Colorado in Boulder its last time out 93-65.
- Only two Rams reached double figures scoring in Isaiah Stevens and Taviontae Jackson with 15 and 10, respectively.
- Senior John Tonje will play in the 100th game of his career on Sunday. He will be the 38th player in program history to play in 100 games for the Green & Gold.
- Colorado State has been taking care of the ball and passing it well in 2022-23. They rank in the top 20 nationally for assist-to-turnover ratio and turnovers per game. The Rams are seventh in the NCAA with a 1.62 ratio and 19th turning the ball over at a rate of 10.3 per game.

Led by interim head coach Roman Gentry, PSC can score averaging 89.8 points per game, that's eighth in the NAIA. They shoot it well with the second-best field goal percentage (53.9%) and third-best 3-point field goal percentage (43.3%).
 
Four players are averaging double digits scoring led by Jibrill Harris and his 16.9 points per game. Donzell Johnson (15.9), Lorenzo Anderson (14.8) and Troy Houghton (10.4) join him.
 
What's Ahead
Colorado State will take the week off to focus on finals before hitting the road to close out non-conference play. The Rams head to California for a game at Saint Mary's on December 18 before facing USC on December 21 in Phoenix.
