10 Degrees of CSU Basketball
1. Returning three starters and 12 letterwinners from last year's 19-9 team that finished at 14-6 and fourth in the Mountain West while advancing to the NIT second round, Boise State was picked to finish fourth in the league in the preseason poll and are leading the Mountain West right now.
2. The Broncos are led by fifth-year forward Abu Kigab, a 2021 Second Team All-Mountain West selection. Kigab lead BSU in points and steals, while freshman Tyson Degenhart paces the team in all three shooting percentages. Redshirt-senior guard Emmanuel Akot is tops in 3-pointers and assists.
3. Boise State leads the overall series 15-12, including 12-6 in conference action and 9-2 in Boise.
4. Head coach Niko Medved now is tied for seventh in the CSU record book in coaching wins with 71 and is second in winning percentage. He is at 62.3 behind the late Boyd Grant (63.8%, 81-46).
5. This year CSU is 12-2 when the starters tally at least 50.
6. CSU is shooting at a stellar 54.8 percent clip from the field, 38.3 percent from the arc and limiting opponents to 44.2 and 31.3, respectively. The Rams have forced 1.5 more turnovers, grabbed +0.7 rebounds a game in the second half and shot 78.5 percent at the charity stripe.
7.  CSU has held opponents to 63 points or less in 10 games, including two at the Paradise Jam.
8.  Junior guard Kendle Moore is just 38 points away from reaching 1,000 points in his CSU career, which would make him the 33th Ram to reach the historic mark in the program's annals.
9.   Junior Isaiah Stevens was named to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award Finalist list and junior David Roddy was on the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year finalist, announced by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Fans can vote for the duo once a day at https://csura.ms/HHAwardVoting
10.  The Rams will head for their fourth different city in this stretch, playing in Albuquerque against New Mexico in this rescheduled game on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
