LOGAN, Utah  –  Colorado State made the plays down the stretch and pulled out a 66-55 victory at Utah State Saturday night. In sweeping this year's series, the Rams improved to 23-4 overall and 13-4 in the Mountain West, while the Aggies slipped to 16-14 and 7-10 in the league.

Colorado State jumped out early with the first five points of the game and used a strong effort on the glass to build a 25-13 lead with 5:51 left in the first. The Rams cooled off and Utah State clawed its way back, but the visitors still held a 30-24 lead at halftime.

Trailing 41-37, senior guard Kendle Moore hit a three to kick off a personal 8-0 run and the Rams went up 45-41. CSU held the lead, but Utah State cut it to two 52-50 with 2:52, but another Moore three and a layup by junior guard Isaiah Stevens put the Rams up 57-50. The visitors then sealed it with going 5-of-6 from the line in the final minute of play.

Colorado State finished the game going 44.2 percent (23-of-52) from the floor but a solid 45.0 percent (9-of-20) behind the arc. Utah State was held to just 41.2 percent (21-of-51) and 28.0 percent (7-of-25) on threes. The Rams dominated the glass 43-26 and outscored the Aggies 10-2 on second-chance points.
