CSU Wraps Up Regular-Season Action With Senior Day Saturday Against Boise State

In the annual Green Out game, the Rams are battling for the No. 2 seed in the Mountain West tournament, while the Broncos have secured the top seed for next week's event.
Opening Tip
• The Rams will return to Moby Arena for its final regular-season game when they host Boise State for Senior Day on Sat., March 5 at 6:30 p.m.
• CSU will honor its three seniors in a ceremony - Chandler Jacobs, Adam Thistlewood and Kendle Moore.
• The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with Chris Lewis handling play-by-play, Bob Wenzel the analyst and Amanda Guerra on the sideline.
• The audio will be on the Colorado State Sports Radio Network (along with online at CSURams.com), with Brian Roth and Adam Nigon handling the broadcast. CSU Sports Network broadcasts can be also accessed on mobile devices through the Varsity Network app (free on all Apple and Android devices). 1. Returning three starters and 12 letterwinners from last year's 19-9 team that finished at 14-6 and fourth in the Mountain West while advancing to the NIT second round, Boise State was picked to finish fourth in the league in the preseason poll. The Broncos have secured the regular-season title and top seed in the MW Tournament.
2. Boise State leads the overall series 15-13, including 12-7 in conference action, but CSU leads 9-5 in Moby Arena.
3. CSU has 23 overall wins on the season are tied for the fourth most in program history and the 85.2 winning percentage is currently tops.
4. The Rams currently are at 13-4 in conference play, just the second time in school history that CSU has at least 13 wins in the first 17 league contests. The 13 conference wins already are tied for the second most conference wins in a single season.
5. Head coach Niko Medved now seventh in the CSU record book in coaching wins with 75 and is second in winning percentage. He is at 63.0 behind the late Boyd Grant (63.8%, 81-46).
6. For just the first time in Moby Arena history, the Rams have sold out five home games in a single season (all consecutive) versus UNLV, San Diego State, Fresno State, Wyoming and this Boise State game.
7. CSU has already secured a bye in the opening round of the 2022 Air Force Reserve Mountain West Championship, making the Rams first game on Thursday, March 10. The Rams will be the No. 2 or No. 3 seed, depending on what happens in the remaining games. A win over Boise State would lock up the No. 2 seed, while either seed is in play with a loss.
8.  Colorado State had had three players reach the 1,000-point career mark during this season, as only 3 have now reached the mark for the Rams, the last prior to this year being J.D. Paige during the 2018-19 season. Junior David Roddy became #31 to reach the 1,000-point mark in his career in the first half of the Mississippi State game on Dec. 11, while junior Isaiah Stevens got to the benchmark in his next game against Air Force on Jan. 4. Senior Kendle Moore got it with his 23 points at Utah State on Feb. 26.
9. CSU has held opponents to 63 points or less in 12 games (with six of 55 or less), including two at the Paradise Jam. Seven times in Mountain West action, the Rams have held opponents to 59 points or less.
