While losses for the Bears come at the hands of No. 5 Minnesota and No. 24 Pepperdine.
- The Rams will have a shot at knocking off two different power-five conference opponents this weekend with Baylor coming out of the Big 12 and Arizona State out of the Pac-12. This weekend will also look to prepare the Rams for another Pac-12 opponent as Colorado State rounds out its non-conference season with two games against in-state rival Colorado next week.

Match Notes Nuggets
- Junior Kennedy Stanford continues to be the focal point of the Colorado State offense as she led the team in kills in three out of four game last week. With 40 kills over four matches during week two of the season, Stanford leads the team in overall kills with 63.
- Junior Karina Leber leads the Mountain West in attack percentage through the first two weeks of the season. While conference play hasn't started yet, Leber's consistency in the middle blocker position has been a highlight for Colorado State against high profile non-conference teams. As a team, the Rams sit second in attack percentage among Mountain West teams.
- In the Rams' last outing, Hilbert changed up his lineup in all three sets, getting playing time to a variety of players outside of his normal starters. Setter Barrett Power totaled 22 assists while middle blocker Naeemah Weathers finished with seven kills over two sets.
- Redshirt-Freshman Libero Kate Yoshimoto sits eighth in the Mountain West for total digs from the back row with 72.
- After the season started with service errors in the double-digit range, the Rams put out their best number of the season against Alabama State and Arkansas, only surrendering five while adding 15 services aces throughout the invitational.
